Duddle fifty-two... two... three... two... definitely 52, okay.

This is supposed to be the same guy as the red-haired dude in [link]

Since they're all supposed to be pilots, I thought it would be good to make them look a bit more piloty. Nettle gets off because she looks cool/cute already, the stupid square-headed guy (he has a name, but hey) is fine because his outfit already looks spacesuity, and the other girl is an old design that I was purposefully faithful to although probably shouldn't have been, so I thought I'd do this chap.

Everyone knows pilots like scarves, so I gave him one... although he seems to wear it backwards, whoops. I gave him some goggles too, just because they're cool. They were meant to be the source of the reddish light in the pic, but that doesn't entirely make sense so... whatever. With the goggles and the vague detailing around his elbows that looked like long gloves, he looked very vaguely like Dr Horrible before I coloured him.

Whoops, wrote far too much. Bottom-line: I think he looks decidedly neater here, and this is evidence that I shouldn't have tried to go straight from vague character ideas to fairly tidy, finished portraits in a single step.
