Just a bit of a doodle that I ended up scribbling some really quite odd colours on afterwards. I had a strange urge to draw an elf. Hopefully one of these days I'll have a strange urge to draw a picture with an actual background, as I've noticed I'm getting a bit lazy there (although I did do something with a background that I haven't put up here, so it is a bit of an unfair representation)Not having the greatest day in the world, but doing this has helped considerably XD

I love the ethereal feel of this piece. I also dig the way the colors play off well with the shadows you've created. And her expression is rendered in such a lovely fashion!! Great job! I'm gonna fav it!

The eyes are amazing! The shading is stunning. I donβt think the background is a problem, the way its shaded it looks like night with a single light shining on her. It looks simplyβ¦amazing.

Ah, pretty nice... this is more of a balance between new and old style...
A few crits though. The arm looks strange in several ways. The chest muscle connects to the arm too far down, the shading on the arm is.. not good, actually. You should know better. The elbow and bend of the arm aren't really defined, and the armguards have no thickness and look painted on.
The face is a little off and the jawline is too steep.
Otherwise, she's got a cool body, and the clothes are real nice.

Her facial expression is absolutely perfect. Utterly confident, and ready to kick ass. The coloring is rather unusual, but it works great.
And since I like modernish elves better than fantasy elves this is doubly excellent. Heh.

Thanks :3 It was all about the face, really... the body was a bit of an afterthought, although kinda necessary when I figured out that I wanted the whole wind-pushing-stuff-back thing that seemed to match the mood I was going for. Or something like that.
