I really feel that this guy should have been a gen 3 pokemon, too many Male Gardevoir
Anyway while this guy is powerful, Sceptile will always be my go to swordsman

Plus his Mega Evolution's stat spread fixes what went wrong with Mega Gardevoir's (what was GF smoking when they decided to give Mega Gardevoir's physical attack an unnecessary buff?)

But there are other Pokemon who can use it better due to having higher attack (Shiftry and Gallade are a few that come to mind).
