Hah. Uhm. things have actually gotten way, way busier since I finished college until this autumn.... but in a good way!WIP of... this, which I sketched and began inking on Friday.
It might be noticeable that I'm trying a different inking method. I wanted to try it as I don't feel strongly either way about the sketch I ended up with.
I think I'll try to finish inking today, though I'm working on ref sheets and other things, too. |:

Yep. I've been "teaching" (more like hosting, honestly) a class these past few weeks. And I took on an extra writing class and have to have more stuff done for that, but it's not really my style and thus not much of a leisure activity.
Aside from that, there's a karate tournament tomorrow which I've been training for, and have to wake up early to catch a ferry for since it's off the island.
I've also been gearing up to be crew on a ship for a few days. Though that's more toward the end of the month.

Lately, yeah. I actually forgot some stuff there, too. XD I'm doing a whole bunch of career oriented stuff and am prepping for volunteerwork too. XD And today is Mother's Day so I just got back from taking my mom to brunch, uh... had to make her a card while burnt out from spending 9:30am to 4:15 pm at the tournament and then catching the ferry and getting home just before seven, I didn't get a chance to actually eat a meal until I got home... it was also my aunt's birthday yesterday, so we're taking her and my cousin out on Wednesday, my one "off" day. And on Friday I found out they want me to teach more classes, I thought I was done!
...I'm pretty tired, to be frank, and I'm about to leave for the rest of the day again. xux

There ended up being a shortage of people in my division for sparring (as in, none) so I had to fight people with brown stripe belts (meaning they are going up for their black belts soon). |: I actually came in third out of everyone in that which was... a surprise. Got second place in kata too.
