Nice work. Ragdoll has an interesting character design, but I really can't say much more because of having commented on works of a similar nature already, so I'll cut to talking about the execution of this drawing itself.
The pose is an interesting one, especially when taking into account the title of this deviation. The expression on Ragdoll's face implies a sort of enjoyment from the injuries she is suffering from, which is rather disturbing in itself. I like the positioning of her tail, as well, that it appears akin to a noose, which once again has connections with the title here. However, given that this appears to go along with the phrase of 'hanging by a thread', Ragdoll doesn't look like she's hanging from the bloody thread she is holding on to here; the positioning of her body doesn't make it look like she is being pulled downwards by gravity, nor does it look like she is standing and reaching up for it, given the positioning of her legs and feet. This is confusing in that I don't know what she is doing here and why.
That aside, the only other issues I can see here are on her torso. What I assume is her ribcage looks far too 'sharp', and I would suggest drawing those details in the future through darker values/shading rather than lineart (as you would do with muscle structure), as I feel it stands out far too much as-is and doesn't look very skeletal as I assume was the intention. The thickness of her waist and shape of her hips, as well; the shape looks unnatural and beyond anorexic, as if Ragdoll would snap like a twig should she try and move--or at the very least be under a great deal of strain--and I find it difficult to take the design seriously as a result, which is unfortunate since the other aspects of her appearance as well as the details do look good. For all I know this is part of her character--but if it is this means you do need to explain it, or else people will become confused as I have done.
I like the darker nature to this drawing as a whole, though. I would have liked to read into why she looks like this and what is happening--have you considered explaining things some more, or is that not really a priority? It is clear all your characters have some sort of reason and story behind them, so isn't there anything to say in the artist's comments? It makes it seem like you don't think much of your work, and surely that can't be right.

so creepy, so gross...yet so incredibly freakin' awesome. I'm a huge horror fan and this character consistently has that "I wanna look away but can't" feel. Really do love Ragdoll.

Oh, thanks so much! I really love the horror genre, myself. Truly, that's the feel I hope for with Ragdoll, she's supposed to be quite gruesome in her current state.
Thanks so much again, I'm glad you like her. c:

Thanks very much! Ragdoll is one of my favourites, too... always fun to work with. ^^
Oh, I'm glad there's a feeling of motion in the thread, everything's supposed to appear to be swinging just a bit, here. I love drawing all the detail on her skin, especially her face. c:

Aha, I'm glad. I was hoping it would fit in along with the hanging theme this drawing has without being too unsubtle. n_n
Ragdoll isn't her true name, just a nickname that has become attributed to herself over time, due to her rather warped appearance. She is a created being, and isn't able to age or heal in the way normal living things do, certain events arose that resulted in her receiving some considerable damage, and the stitches are how she holds herself together now. Ehe, I kind of feel like working on the story she's tied to, now.
But Ragdoll did, like many of my ocs, start off as an originally random drawing I found myself feeling some form of connection or inspiration to.
Thank you very much! I really appreciate you taking the time to comment on my work, as well as ask questions about my characters. It really means a lot that someone shows such an interest. (:

I don't know anything about 3d art, myself, but I think yours looks good! It looks quite challenging to make something like that. c:
