A sketchy piece of my original character, Leia!

I drew it last night in celebration //and as a break from transcribing// because I'm JUST SO HAPPY!!!! //I found my songgggg! //cries

About three years ago I was in this grocery store, and a song came over the radio that I thought was absolutely beautiful, and I stood under one of the speakers trying to catch some lyrics to Google what it was when I got home. But by the time I actually got home, I'd forgotten pretty much everything except for the fact that it was by a girl, sounded like it was from the 90's, said something about "I wonder why," and the melody of the chorus.

Not exactly a lot to go on - there are HUNDREDS of songs that could fit that description - but, me being me, that didn't stop me at all!
For the past three years, I have been patiently combing through different 90's mixtapes, Googling lyrics and listening to everything that remotely resembles "I wonder why," and just.. I was willing to listen through every single song that was released during the 90's if I had to, but I was FINDING that song.

Haha, anyway, long story short;
my patience finally paid off!!!!!! The other night, the next song on the checklist was "Sunny Came Home" by Shawn Colvin, and guess what?

IT WAS THE SONG!!!!! Wahh, I was so happy, I cried a little. Three years and several hundred songs later, I finally found it!!!!! ; w ;

....And guess what else?

......it IS from the 90's!
Pfft.. I know the 90's when I hear it.

But seriously.. I'm so happy! And I feel that way every time I look at this piece! I'm glad I could immortalize that feeling, if only in sketch form!
