Love this - the tones and way your eyes follow the lines out to vastness of the ocean. Great job.

Great, emotive shot. That circle is maybe a bit too obvious.

Beautiful And that's exactly why I'd like to live at the sea, too...it's so calm and just right for me.
I love the sepia tones here, and the perspective! Great job!

i love the way the bridgey thingy...ah...boardwalk! just rushes out straight and then seems to slow abruptly, with the lone tower at the end. I don't know, it just gets me right there....

Very nice work. I like that it seems there's so much more to explore but the human boundry's end here. The rest of the way till the horizon isn't made yet because we're not ready.

Very deep and inspiring photo if you ask me. Really nice done.

Beautiful the sepia works really well, nice idea! I love how you can see all the detail of the boards and railings. Nice to see photography of the UK too - i live here but always find it hard to capture beauty in the places i see all the time.

th3rdeye [2005-09-11 11:31:18 +0000 UTC]

there's a round mark...is that deliberate?? this is very nice nevertheless, the way it leads you in!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

draven-clarke In reply to th3rdeye [2005-09-12 07:46:07 +0000 UTC]

yeah, that is deliberate.. thanks for noticing . i put it in on when i added the sepia toning, i felt it added a more dreamlike feel to the shot and also makes the eye look outwards towards the focalpoint, rather than dart side to side.. the shot seemed somwhat flat without it... hopfully its not to noticable though?.

This photo is just so calming. I love what the Sepia tone adds to this image, it makes it appear so dream-like and beautiful. I love the angle you caught this from, emphasizing the winding walkway. This reminds me of my home town^^

Nice one,
Taken a few shots from this spot myself with a old 3mp compact a few years back.
I think the best ever taken here are by a photographer called Joe Cornish.
Yours turned out better than mine. Well done, Think ill go post mine now just for the fun.
Regards,
Steve
