It was an old monastery from around the 1300's where monks would go for a life of silence.

A really nice place place to explore, would have though those were burnt marking on the tower, but it could be from weathering over the years.

It really was a beautiful place.. Yeah it is where the stone has been weathered not burned but I can see why you would think that.
