My logic; Watch Rio 2, love it to no end, but then draw fanart from the first movie instead!! Maybe it's the fact that after rewatching the original the day after seeing it's sequel, I realized that the first one if 100 times better than the second... Don't worry though, I'm still in such a huge Rio-hype that you can expect possibly one to two more Rio 2-themed pics in the near future...

This is kinda like an alternative ending to Rio. Think about it: What if Blu didn't learn to fly even though Jewel kissed him, confirming his mutual feelings for him, and they both came crashing down into the wide, blue ocean? I know this is a little bit on the tragic side, but I want to believe the two lovebird are at least happy that they get to drown in each other's arms; Hence the smiles on their beaks!

I've also recently come to the conclusion that BluxJewel is the favorite ship ever, even beating out all the million and one pony-ships I support. It might just me who've caught the Rio-fever after such a long break, but how else could you explain that I keep returning back to this pairing again and again? Their relationship is just endlessly cute and fun to watch and listen to! But still, there's way too few pics of these two together... Like, you can even compare the amount to that of the smallest MLP-pairings. :C

Fun little fact. Some of you might remember, hopefully you don't, that I started my internet "career" with this nickname as a fanfic author at Fanfiction.net where I wrote Rio fanfics badfics. I was like, 14 or 15 then, so you can expect exactly that kind of writing-quality. I never finished even a single one, but most of them are still out there.

...But seriously, don't read them though. Spoiler warning: They're not that good. Except for the lemon. It's pretty sweet.
