This is a single frame timed exposure using experimental lighting and seeing how far one could push the boundary by adding a live model standing in opposing positions during the shot.
No real photo-shopping was done (this is not a composite!) digital darkroom techniques used were thus:
Unsharp Mask
Masking out unwanted flare on the right hand side of the frame.
Mild colour adjustment
