Description
My new found love of wheel guns has made acquiring one of these iconic handguns a real must.The particular one fitted is Tanaka M29 6.5 Heavy Weight v2.

great photo. I notice most of your revolvers are at the exact same angle. is this particular angle special or something?

For this shot and that of the M29 they are angled as such so the engraved trademarks could be clearly read, its really just coincidental That they are so similar.

I'll likely update this shot later to make it stand out a little better, plus I have some nice S&W grips on the way so it'll probably be at an angle that compliments them instead.

Fair point, i once had a Dan Wesson by ASG which had an 8 inch barrel, bloody great monster. Too bad the FPS was over site limits

Cheers, to my general understanding if your going to get an airsoft revolver it has to be tanaka and from holding the one above I can fully understand why people are of that opinion.

Unfortunately for me i have no experience using any Tanaka airsoft guns but from just looking at one i know i must now buy one. A guy at my airsoft site once offered me a S&W M36 'Chief Special' i think it was, for about Β£75 at the time but i turned him down.Β
I don't purchase second hand guns, only new ones. Looks like i'll have to dig my hand into my wallet, again. Β Β

Sadly a lot of tanaka models are discontinued or out of stock in most retailers (the special finish versions especially) so buying second hand is often the only way to get particular revolvers, not a big problem for someone who just wants one for novelty purposes but for someone like me who likes collecting rare bits it can be bothersome =/Β

I assume you mean the Marushin Mateba GITS revolver ?
It just so happens I have one my self but its the version with the ABS grip which has a small clip on the inside that is prone to breaking (which mine sadly has) so I'm hopelessly trying to either source a replacement or have someone make me one from wood....

I have seen that gun on you're page and i like it a lot but i do actually mean the Automag, the one Clint Eastwood used in "Sudden Impact". I have seen a few of the guys at my site with one (during a blue moon) and the kick is amazing, not as good as the Tokyo Marui Desert Eagle but the Automag is something i really want, very badly for my collection.Β
The Beretta 93R i had was an ASG/KWA model, very basic but i had it mostly for the sake of owning it since in reality it is one of the rarest guns to own. I could have brought the KSC model i think, but this one was easier to obtain at the time of purchase. Β

Ah I get you now, I had forgotten marushin even made the actual automag and assumed you meant the mateba "autorevolver". They certainly aren't something you see popping up for sale often in fact I don't think I've ever seen one pop up anywhere.Β
I have had M93r's myself but found them to be unreliable and their complex workings meant small yet important parts where prone to breaking.Β

You sometime see the odd one here or there on the facebook airsoft pages where you can buy/swap/sell/trade and so forth. I think the cheapest i saw one going for at one time was about four months ago for about Β£120.00 i think. Had the paypal all ready to go and then within half an hour of it being posted up for sale it was gone. I was devastated. Still on the prowl for one though, im not giving up that easily...
Aye, i had one and swapped it for a WELL GBB H&K MP5K, feel like a complete douche for doing that now cus it's pretty crap. Still, got more mags for it than i did the Beretta
