Description I am foaming with excitement over my scans, kids. These are the first 'good' images I have done with my art markers and I am SO ENTHUSED. I don't want to submit all of them at once, so I'll do some tonight and some tomorrow.

This guy is a little something I whipped up during my break in Middle Eastern Lit. I actually scaled his ENTIRE body, then coloured over in a lighter green. Unfortunately the scales weren't dry enough, so they blended in a fair bit. He's completely cut out and is normally stuck to my door.

The shading on this is lovely 8DDD
How did you scale them all at first? Did you shade it and then go over it, IDK, I'm just really amazed and curious about how you got the lovely texture

I drew in the scales in Limepeel, then shaded with Chartreuse, and then once it had kind-of dried (only a little bit) I coloured over the entire thing in Limepeel again.

oh this is amazing ;-;
absoluitely beautiful and shading and face and eyes and colors and everything is great D:

I look at this though,and I think "Why would a dragon curve itself like that?" not because of you, since they're drawn like that throughout history. Do you think it would hurt? Why on earth would they do that, for looks? I'm curious

Fffffthankyou. <3333

I actually thought the same thing as I was drawing it. I didn't even draw his limbs as spraddled as they are in classical imagery... I tried, but even I couldn't go that far. XD So I have no idea... we should quest to discover.

you're very welcome C:

and its funny that you thought that.. they must like, I guess. or maybe its just some silly style thing that stuck becasue they're mystical and so they MUST like to do crazy twisty things. A quest awaits us! let is go!
