I'm working on the last pages of the Q&A so I can get back to the actual comic, but...I just had to paint these two. XD

These guys are from my current White 2 blind nuzlocke run. You can catch Zubat now, and right beyond there, there's another route, and you can catch Woobat. So I caught both as my first encounters.

The Woobat is Woo, male, quirky nature, alert to sounds. His ability is Klutz, so he's sort of goofy, likes to mess around, but a fuzzy sweetheart with a heart of gold. The Zubat is Echo, quirky nature, quick to flee, and her ability is inner focus. So she's a bit more serious, worries, but puts her all into everything she does. And if you can get her relaxed, she's fun-loving and loves to laugh.

I caught Echo and was a little disappointed in the Zubat catch (I love them, but I've trained them so OFTEN in nuzlockes) but I figured I'd train her, if only for the teammate. Then, not long after, I caught Woo. I would think that Echo felt a little threatened by another flying type on the team, another bat, and maybe was even a little mean to him at first out of worry of being boxed. And being such a sweetie, he was a little hurt by her snappiness. But when their trainer, Sadie, assured them that neither of the would be boxed - they'd both be trained for Burgh's Bug gym - Woo cheered up, and Echo relaxed a bit, and apologized. Then they started to get to know each other, and...

Bat love.

Squee. <3 He's relaxed enough to help her not overstress herself, and she's serious enough to help him take things seriously when he might be a little too silly. They love each other very much, and I wanted to paint them. <3

In other news, in this run I have Tagg the Serious Oshawott (stern team leader, very brave)
Thimble the Modest Swadloon (very solid rock of sense on the team)
Lila the Naiive Flaaffy (energetic and raring for a fight, sometimes very brash, a real country gal from the ranch)
Crooked the Docile Sandile (Relaxed, but gets worried easily, and is a hesitant fighter.)

And we had one death, my first catch, Maple the Bashful Purrloin. She was doing so well, even though her species are so weak and easily killed...she came so far...but a chance hit took her out. Sigh. RIP Maple.
