This probably won't make much sense unless you've read the webcomic Two-Faced, by ~JasperLizard . So go look it up, it's quite good. It's about a cat with two faces (and subsequently three eyes) named Janice.

Anyhoo, Jasper's having a contest for her webcomic, involving doing artwork, comics, animations or fanfictions involving an OC interacting with a character from Two-Faced.

So it's late at night, I had an idea, I thought I'd whip it up, why not. XD

The two characters depicted are Janice, from Two-Faced, and an unnamed cat from the past. An OC of mine now, I guess. Just an old stray. We'll call him Pale because of his odd pale stripes.

The story behind this piece, the idea, is from Janice's supernatural powers - she can look into the past and into the future. So this story is that Janice was wandering through the past, just testing out her newfound powers, and she happened upon the death of Pale. She found all of him there, in the past - him as a child, him growing up, fighting, growing, running, living, dying...and watching all that would be overwhelming to the young cat. Seeing a whole life pass in the blink of an eye, as if it were nothing. But Pale reassures her not to be sad. Because after all, even if his life is long since gone, it's nice to be remembered.

Hope you like it, Jasper! I tried to mimic your in-the-past style, not sure how I did, but eh, I like it.
