And the children of the internet did rejoice, that Charizard at last became a Dragon.For those of you who don't know, they revealed today that Charizard has a new Mega Evolution - Mega Charizard X. Look at this beautiful animal. It turns any ordinary Charizard into a faux shiny. It has blue fire and near-feather wings. (I love feather wings.) And at long last, Charizard is a Dragon/Fire type in this evolution. It's going to be freaking boss - its only weaknesses now are like, Ground and Rock, and it's not even weak to Fairy because the Fire halves it.
You just let it all out, big guy. You deserve it.
Plus, I was already getting X version, so yeaaaaahhhh

It'd actually just be normal damage, because fire takes just half damage, so it cancels out the damage that dragon does

are you sure? i think fairy was normal damage but dragon will be like all other dragons.

I was crying when I found this out to but for a diffrent reason.
I check the Serebii for information since it is usually very reliable, and i usually check it every few hours or so in case something happens. So the day this was announced, i check serebii and see nothing. I think to myself "I should probably preorder the game now since there is only a week or so before it coems out."
So I go to Gamestop and preorder Pokemon Y, since I wanted Yveltal. When I get home I was bored so I checked Serebii again out of habit and guess what I see is exclusive to Pokemon X. I. WAS. PISSED!!! If I had waited literally 5 minutes, I would have a game when I can get a black and blue, dragon type Charizard, which is pretty much the thing I have wanted since Gen 1.
Please, Gamefreak, let mega stones be tradable. Please don't make them key items.

Nope. Fire halves Fairy damage, so Mega Charizard X only takes neutral damage from Fairy, not Super Effective damage.

Dragon-types are already over-powered, and he can now resist the other starters, as Dragon-Type resists Water, Fire, Electric, and Grass.
If the others don't get something to balance that out, he's too OP.

Don't know...Legendary Pokemon looks better to meh...I don't like the wings of the X Charizard

Technically, Charaizard will only be a dragon during the battle so...... he's still just a lizard that can fly and breath fire.Β
