Description
Mothra is very popular among many fans, and I’ve personally grown to admire her a lot too. Several of her film designs often resemble the likes of a butterfly than a moth, in which I'm not entirely sure if it's just due to the shape of the wings.
Mothra's wing patterns can be difficult to memorize and draw, yet nonetheless they are very beautiful and striking to the eyes.
The legs were also very odd to visualize. Insect anatomy is truly strange.

So glad to see Mothra once again! And not just the normal Mothra either but holy hell this is damn good take on her! Normally see just a copy/paste of her original and this feels both a bit more realistic but also having some unique cartoon style to her buggy nature, bravo DragonSource25 !
Really like it how she has a touch of animal vibe to her with the sense of the hair and even the antennae feeling sort of like horns in some regards. Know that ain't true given hers wings and the way the legs are many, but the fact you want to keep eyeing up this giant Kaiju is really wonderful.
Same wonderful with the damn pattern work! You didn't just draw lines and called it a day, but genuinely sat down and added details/patterns/markings on her to make her feel more grandiose and something really to behold. Every part of her is again just something I really adore.
Kudos to the changes you did make with the insect anatomy and throwing in your own direction. Like most of all how the coloring toning works giving her that much lush and thick feeling to her entire look. Even the way the orange and red stand out so brilliantly with the touch of the black used on the wings. You really, really know your stuff when it comes to art. o0o
Oh and damn well love the changeover from the eyes of the original to the nice blue eyes you used here. Makes her that much less buggy in some regards, but way more interesting to take in. Overall, just a really great take on a really wonderful Kaiju. A job expertly done here DragonSource25 , hats off to you.
