I love how the animators insisted on her being naked, like she wasn't feminised enough.
I have no objections to this style, but this robs the girl in boy's clothing concept to me (I guess I'm alone on that belief!).

Well, it's not like this is her official new look. It was made for this one short that had nothing to do with her "hiding as a boy" story. Also, I thought it still had a tomboyish feel

Hey, I remember her. When the anime series was americanised
for childrens tv, they changed her name from Princess Saphire to Princess Knight. That show used to be on when I was a kid. She also had a little gaurdian angel who followed her around the place. I'd sure like to see that again. Do you know if the series is available on DVD, by any chance? Please let me know.

And yes, the american version of Princess Saphire was first aired in the U.S during the early 70's,from what I gathered from various anime fan sites.
