Description
During "The Darkness Within", Danny Phantom is bonded to a dark substance that hightens his power while bring out his darker, more dangerous side. The changes psychological changes occur when he shoves Dash into the wall for making fun of his then relationship with Sam, threatening to harm him. He later yells at his mom for still thinking Danny Phantom is a threat. He notices this hcagne during a battle with his villains that almost resulted in him squishing Walker. Later learning from the Observants what it is, it's the Dark-Shadow, created from Dark Danny's substance to increase one's power, but inadverteadly bring out their hatred, Danny keeps it until going as far as breaking Sam's ring and heart, while almost killing Vlad. Though he gets rid of it, it finds a new host in Ricky Jones... aka Haunting...Danny Phantom (C) Butch Hartman

When I read your description, I really thought about the movie Spider-Man 3 because when that black stuff covered Peter, he became sorta evil and broke the women he loves' heart. Very nice pic too!

At first I really didn't imagine Danny's ears like that but seeing it now makes the whole Dark-Shadow Danny complete. The white streak is cool too. Flashbacks to the story are swimming through my head right now. Mostly the break-up part, and Danny's agony dealing with the dark substance and trying to get rid of it. Excellent job.

Thank you. At first I wanted to add a fanged mouth and slit pupils, but I felt it'd be creepier if you can't see his actual expression. The black glow and the black emblem represents how the shade brings out the darkest part of him.

Oh my gosh that would have been SO creepy! And certainly frightening to look at! That's the cool part with colors, they can sometimes bring out and show what people are feeling, or saying.
