Description Finally finished the coloring on Loki Pony from the LiveStream session earlier. I was just about done with him during the stream.... I just needed to finish the shading on his cape and body.

And I'm sorry but I had to spot him a bit. It was something that was nagging me the whole time I was coloring but I forgot to ask if everyone else liked that idea. He just looks like he needs some spots. I may go in and tone down the spots on his flank in order to pop out the cutie mark, but I do love his spots.

I would like to draw Sleipnir now LOL!

Sorry for the lack of BG, I have no clue what to do so I'm treating this more like a character design.

Considering the fact that in actual Norse mythology, Loki actually gets pregnant and gives birth to a 8 legged horse named Sleipnir, I honestly think that'll be a good chance for Marvel to team up with Hasbro

yeah, honestly I've been thinking about pulling open the file again and redesigning the cutie mark. Β I never did like it very much >.< Β Mostly because it's too detailed and hard to see against his skin.

hmmmmmm that's actually a rather tough question... he has a touch of an evil streak so I wonder if he might lean more towards Discord (not to mention I kinda like Discord LOL)

LOL true, true! But he's such a pretty horse (I've loved him since I saw him in FF7 the first time I summoned Odin.)

Oh i loved myths as a kid (still do), so i knew all about him before i even encountered FF
But then explaining it to people seems to leave them with wtf looks on their faces, curse loki and his gender/species shifting

Well its cute, loki like and doesnt violate other fandoms (which an annoyingly large amount of mlp fanwork has done...), so i cant complain

Thank you so much! XD you know... I actually wanted to make him an Alicorn like Celestia. But I thought it would look weird with the helmet horns... T.T He really does need the horn though, it suits him. So maybe when he's not wearing the helmet we'll be able to see he actually has a horn too.

Sleipnir is awesome. X3 His origin story is one of my favourite myths out there, even if the Marvel continuity doesn't really address it.

man i wish i was at the live stream (darn dinner xD), i need to actually watch The Avengers, everything is telling me to...and now Loki pony has cemented it xD
I like his colors alot, they really compliment all the gold and his green cape
logically though his wings are a bit too tiny for his body, BUT IT ADDS TO THE CUTENESS XD

Thank you! I actually need to thank everyone on the stream for his body color... I wasn't quite sure what to do and they helped me pick out a tone that fit well with the gold and green.

You know that's the same thing I was just discussing about my Raven/Gil pony. He's based on a Friesian horse so he's huge, but he has these tiny little wings. There's just no way the wings on the ponies could ever carry them. But Vanshira said that's what the magic element is for LOL

Honestly I'm shocked he turned out in a way I liked. I'm not really used to drawing ponies, its something I'm trying to pick up again... usually my attempts look off or don't even look like MLP LOL.
