A bunch of Starfleet officials goes into a bar owned by a PTSD-suffering engineer and meet the Number one Commander of the Galaxy.
Sounds like some sort of joke.
The cake wasn't a lie.

So Janeway just managed to catch up with the guys. She got lost on the way to the bar. Picard is listening with poorly-hidden amusement about Riker's adventures he had when he tried to get Sisko's present. It involved dodging Diana's attempt at talking him into meeting one of her friends, a shoot-out with a group of Borgs in the Electronics department and wrestling a bunch of Jawas to get the last bit of wrapping paper. Major Kira is keeping an eye on Gul-Dukat, who's trying his best setting the Star Fleet Officers on fire with his mind (It's not working. yet). Sisko, in the process of cutting the cake, is listening to his best friend Commander Shepard who is just telling him the nice A.I. in the background made the Cake for him. He's also apologising that Samus Aran couldn't make it to their party, as she and Mr. Gordon are searching for an escaped Headcrab. GLaDOS and Wheatley have Chell over for the conclusion their annual Try-to-kill-the-test-subject maze. Nobody died this year, which is a great plus.
Darth Revan invited the Silver Surfer for a bit of Brainstorming about how to beat up a bunch of Force weilders the most awesome way.
Isaac Clarke is quite happy with his new job as a Bar keeper. At least it involves a whole lot less stomping on things.
