First part for this pic would be the lighting. You do have an amazing talent with showing off different shades of the character, their shadows especially. It's a good way to show and improvise your talents. That's a good strong point in this picture.

The bad one.. well.. let's just say that you got lazy with the BG but it's okay, just not a 'wow' kind. The face.. I don't really know what's wrong but it doesn't look very much perprotional. This one, you need to ask an artist about it. How his muzzle looks like. Maybe a little longer with the muzzle. It looks like his mouth is sucked in a little. Comes the mane... a little flowing and furry but not so. Something lacks in there.

Still need a little more practice but considering your standard, it's pretty good. Just not 'wow' type. Just good.

Not bad Kion you could have used more shadows under the muzzle but other then that it is awsome
