Who says everything has to be Water-type during my Fakemon ocean spree? Introducing the first Fairy-type in my Fakedex, meet Biragi, the EleRabbit Pokemon! No region's complete without the obligatory Pikachu representative!
I totally wasn't craving Nesquik when I colored this hnnng gimme chocolate.

What the Pikachu of my region was going to be has been circulating in my head since the beginning. Originally, I was going to go with an electric lemur with two stages (same as Biragi right now). I even have some rough sketches of the first stage in my sketchbook. Though, I never really did get around to drawing it digitally. After the Fairy-type debuted, some ideas for some Excelo Region Fairy-types began to pop into my head. This inevitably led to me thinking about using a jackalope for my region's Pikachu. Its mythical, and the idea of it using its antlers as lightning rods was simply too good to pass up. So, the lemur concept was scrapped in favor of Biragi.

Like all 'Pikaclones', Biragi's fast. Unlike them however, Biragi's more physically-oriented than its comrades. It has a signature move in Horn Spark, essentially a love child of Thunder Fang and ThunderPunch. This doesn't to say Biragi can't hold its own in the special department, however. Lightningrod can absorb the opposing side's Electric-type attacks and boost Biragi's SPATK to shocking levels, enabling it to unleash an onslaught of Thunders and Thunderbolts. Aside from Electric-type moves, Biragi can also learn Bounce thanks to its springy nature. Though breeding, Biragi can also inherit Sawsbuck's signature move, Horn Leech. Overall, Biragi's got a versatile movepool to choose from. Now, if you thought this was pretty decent for competitive usage, wait til Biragi evolves! Bring down the thunder!
