Description The wolf sings. Contest entry for 's contest . Yeah... really typical common boring theme, a wolf howling at the moon. But I like wolves, and moons, so yeah =/

Anyway this howl looks a little fiercer cause the teeth are poking out. >_>

Took about 3 or 4 hours in between procrastinating and redoing the moon and sky OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. The wolf itself took about and hour and a half though.

I used a little bit of a moon brush for the little details in the moon.

Was listening to Enya music while doing this ._.

It's pretty nice, but theres one thing about it that bugs me.

If you look at a picture of a wolf howling, you'll notice that only the bottom fangs are visible. I've had a little trouble with this 'ose' as well, but once you find out how to draw it it's easy. c:

Thank you for pointing that out, but I was fully aware of that while drawing this. I wanted it to be a little different, a little more powerful. It is more like the end of a howl rather than the middle or start of it. I have seen photographs and videos of wolves howling and showing their teeth this way, but of course they are not very common, people tend to only see the 'bottom teeth only' howls xD. But anyway, thanks for pointing it out. I appreciate it when people offer constructive criticism.
