I don't want to sound cruel, but I would hope that Jack does what Ashi wants him to. The defeat of Aku has to come first. You will be missed, Ashi.

But killing an innocent life was what caused him to lose his blade and honour. If killing a sheep did that there's no way he'd stain his blade with the blood of not only another innocent but his love too.

I actually have an inkling that Aku MIGHT have some form of control over Ashi...but I kind of expected this. Nevertheless, it was really shocking!
This picture simply conveys Ashi's emotional pain being a puppet of Aku with no control over her actions. Now, imagine if Jack spares all her sisters...Jack would have to FIGHT ALL SEVEN AKU-ified sisters...OMG that's going to be one tedious and mind-scarring battle.
The white tears is really scary...it shows how much emotional pain she's going through while fighting Jack, and she's basically pleading for a mercy kill from Jack...and Jack cannot do it because he loves her.
I hope this gets resolved, and I pray Ashi survives.

Well, the lesson that the season has been teaching us so far is that there's always hope, so killing Ashi would be incredibly counterproductive to that.

There is a theory running around that this will be like the Aku infection, and Ashi will have to dig down REALLY deep in order to break her father's hold on her.

It just seems so hard to hope for a happy ending with what I've heard and learned in the last episode.
Aku is Ashi's biological father.Β Even if he manages to go back into the past, he'll have to destroy Aku.... thus Ashi and her sisters would never be born.
I.... I just can't see how there will be any happy endings in this.

i personally would not like for a happy ending for them since it would be very forced, also if they killed her off then ide think that be very offensive to the fans to introduce a character then kill her in the end in such a small time frame. We barely know Ashi, to kill her so soon would be a discredit. Honestly, i could see it going either wayΒ
i doubt Jack is going to make it to the past, but......oh wow. I never thought about that. Oh wow. That..makes things a whole lot more tragic.

They've both had a hard time in their lives:Β Jack losing all he loves and having nothing left but memory, and Ashi having no life outside of that cave until she left... or the fact that her parents are total douche bags.
I just want them both to be happy.

that would be nice, but the writers have kind a cornered themselves with this new development. Either Ashi has to die (which renders her development moot), or she gets to live and she and Jack get to live their underdeveloped love life which isn't ideal either. There's no real nice way to end this, but we'll see. Pus they have to resolve the conflict of Aku's reign and it just seems to be too much for them to squeeze into one episodeΒ
