Oh, wow, that is such a huge dragon! What I like most about this picture is the look on the girl's face -- she looks so fierce and determined, yet also scared.

I'd be scared too lol , but I'm glad that you like her face. I was trying to get across the emotion.

Awesome work, especially on Flemeth! And great angle, too!

I like it. It's beautifully coloured BUT the expression on your warden/hawke looks very "meh", it doesn't look like she's just rammed a big damn sword into a badass dragon. You should work on that. Otherwise, beautiful.

Haha, I know. I might change it, specifically her mouth I think. I probably will touch it up when I have more time. Thanks

Oh my God girl! This is epic!
You have really improved....I think it's awesome that you've done something besides a portrait and drew something that wasn't human. It doesn't look like your first attempt at all. Fallon looks absoutely beautiful, and I like your dragon. It looks more like Flemeth's dragon form looked in DA2, which I thought was better than Origins'.
But the last Fallon picture? Aww, why? Moving on to your Hawke?

It was a total challenge. If I knew how to work Photoshop I'm sure I could have improved it but I think its a step forward.
You should tell me about your Hawke, maybe I could draw them for you when my list of pics clears up.
Hopefully I'll make a good Hawke soon. I played through first as a warrior and made one for all the other classes but we will see.

It's definitely a step forward from the portraits you've done. I'd like to see more of that from you. I like this Fallon better, too. She looks more elven due to her sharper facial features and I LOVE her hair here. It's all flowy.
Oh okay. Her name's Joey Hawke. Yeah, just felt like giving her a boy name. I know in canon Daddy Hawke's name is Malcolm, but in my canon he's Joseph. And Leandra insisted their first child be named after him no matter what. So that's why her name is Joey.
Her father was Rivaini, so she and her siblings inherited his dark skin, albeit they're lighter because of Leandra. She has wide amber eyes, a long wide nose, full lips, and black hair. She has the same hairstyle Mama Hawke has with default Hawke, that ponytail with the bangs. And she got facial tattoos to rebel against her parents when she was 16. I know she has the same features as Adaia and Jaiden, but I just think that's a beautiful combination.
She's an apostate, naturally. A tomboy, so she's one of those rare mages that wear pants. (Either the smuggler robes or the Robes of the Notorious Pirate, and to a lesser degree, the Champion armor) She would be the witty/sarcastic Hawke, though she would be diplomatic in serious situations. Doesn't like Carver at all, though she would still defend him because that's her little brother and she loves him. Her best male friend is Varric and her best female friend is Isabela. She defended her against the Qunari even after she betrayed her. She romances Fenris, and even though she always sides with the mages they somehow have a friendship-romance.
...That was a mouthful. And you playe as a warrior on your first playthrough? Wow. I always play as a mage first. They're even more badass in the second game. I never play as a warrior, even though they're more interesting in combat now. Hmm. Who did you side with at the end?

Your character sounds interesting. I can't wait to read some of your stuff about her. (And who knows maybe that dad's middle name was Malcolm and he went by that or something... I don't know, but I think Joseph works)
Magic in this game is so awesome, but I always play as a warrior first. I really like to rush into things and beat people up. But since my warrior didn't work out I am really looking forward to my mage.
And obviously I sided with the mages. I think they set it up for you to do that (since you grew up in a magical family) more then siding with the Templars.

Thanks, I try to make them unique, whether it's backstory, appearance, or name. With Joey I think it's the name.
I don't know if I'll write something about her. I can't think of anything. Maybe I will in time. I'm still hung up on my Wardens, though. I'm gonna whip up a story with a mage who is punished for helping Jowan (Duncan isn't there to save her) so she goes through the Rite of Tranquility, but the ritual is stopped halfway as the Circle is attacked by Uldred, so the templars leave her to her death. Haven't gotten all the kinks worked out, but she'll find her way to Alistair and the rest of the group. Her emotions and magic are gone temporarily, but with time they come back. She learns how to love through Alistair. Okay, that part may be lame, but I like it.
But, back to Hawke. Yeah that could work. About Malcolm.
Oh yeah, mages ftw. I love beating the crap out of people with my staff and shooting lightning everywhere. Rogues are even more awesome too. I've always found warriors boring, don't know why. Just doesn't appeal to me. I do like playing as Fenris and Aveline from time to time, though.
Well some people were saying on the forums that the mages and Kirkwall were out of control and stuff, and blood magic had just gone crazy. Considering what Orsino did (which I thought was just completely stupid) I can agree with them to some degree. But no one should be isolated and punished just because of something they inherited. So of course I sided with the mages. I would even if I wasn't a mage, or if Bethany wasn't a mage.

No I think that sounds pretty good, should be an original concept for a story.
I always side with the mages too. Just because I think they are unnecessarily harsh. I think what Orsino did made no sense. First off he was an awesome badass hot mage (I would have married him in a second, inspite of the receding hairline)so why he suddenly felt hopeless even though you were winning is beyond me.

Thank you. Gotta get at least 20 more chapters of Coexist out before I think of starting on Unraveled. Which will be the name of the Tranquil story.
Yeah I guess him going batshit crazy was supposed to stress to us how a mage will freak out when they feel they're backed into a corner. But he shouldn't have felt cornered because the Champion was there....eh.
But lol you think he's attractive? I think all the DA2 elves are ugly as hell. The only beautiful one is Fenris in my opinion. Though he, Athenril, Merrill, and Varania aren't bad looking.

Exactly, he wasn't backed into a corner at all... it was odd I think.
But he is so attractive. Okay, maybe not physically. But his voice and his badass attitude. I feel for him when he went out to distract the Qunari. So awesome.
Varania is Fenris' sister right? Cause I though his sister was okay too. I actually thought that was what Fallon might look like with the new elf look, but it might just be the red hair and green eyes that made me think that.

Yep Writing and visual art are seperate with each catergory getting their own prize. Not sure if we are splitting up the pictures or if we will do one for each winner (although I bet the latter..)
