Really, they could have made Sonic '06 about a moon god in a place called Luneanna or something. It could've made a nice parallel and less confusion with Blaze's origins haha Whatever, consider this part of my AU where Elise and Blaze are sisters and princesses of Soleanna.

Comet the Cat is/was the guardian of the Sol Emeralds. She suddenly disappeared without a trace so the task fell to her youngest daughter, Blaze. 'Blaze' is a nickname that Comet gave to her. Her real name is Oliga but that's awful so mama came to the rescue. She has firepowers too.

Duke is the king of Soleanna but 'King Duke' is silly so he just goes by his name mostly. He thinks his wife is dead and starts 'experimenting' to bring her back. He's much closer to Elise than Oliga Blaze.

Platinum Wayne is a window cleaner. No one knows if he actually loves his wife or just puts up with her but rumour has it that they used to be very much in love! Her behaviour frequently embarrasses him. I can't remember the reason I picked 'Wayne'. Windowpane? Maybe?

Misty is a dimension-hopper. She can open little portals to hop through and mostly uses it to get to places quicker or to play pranks on people. Overuse of her power caused her to go a bit insane. She also screwed up her son, Silver, by jumping through too many portals with him as a kid. As a result, he often has hallucinations and amnesia and believes he is from a post-apocalyptic future. Sometimes he snaps out of it.
