First dragon-drawing contest I've stumbled across
had to enter! Phew. it was in the last minute though, kinda rushed a bit. heard about the contest the day before yesterday, deadline is tomorrow, if she doesn't change it. so yeaIt's like... making it's foot drag through the clouds
if you didn't get that.and well.. that's about it. I think XD don't feel like working more on this...

The body is lithe and taut thanks to strict use of shadow and scant use of light. The wings are thin and rigid like parchment, and I like how you have sunlight (moonlight?) streaming through the little holes. Attention to little details like that really make a piece like this something magnanimous. The clouds are light and flufy like misty cotton. There is a level of color control that is purely masterful. The only way I could see this beaten is if someone made a piece with a more dazzling complex figure, or if they had an astounding level of action going on in the piece. Otherwise, I'd say you are a shoe-in!
