Description You see,
she mends all the broken hearts in the world. She uses her own hair as thread as she sew them together after they fall and break.

But you must be patient, because she is alone in her work. Some hearts are broken into more pieces than others, and may take more time to patch together. But don't worry, she will get to all the hearts. It just takes time.

(Sometimes she tries to catch them before they hit the ground, but they always slip away. It's like they don't want to admit where they're going.)

Did you know you can help, though?
You can, if you take the time to think about the people around you. The more we all care about each other, the quicker she can repair the ones that still are left.

Please, do all you can to help,
there are hearts at stake.

Had an idea in my head today.
I'm unsure about the word "sow" >.< is it the right word in the context?

Tools: Markers, pencil, pen, white gel-pen, red gel-pen, coloured pencil. (Photoshop to up the contrast of the scan!)

So I built you a house from a broken home
And I wrote you a song with the words you spoke

Yeah, it took me some time but I figured out
How to fix up a heart that I let down

Now I'm searching every lonely place
Every corner calling out your name
Tryna find you but I just don't know
Where do broken hearts go?
Where do broken hearts go?

Looks Amazing, Great Job, I Love It.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound harsh, it IS an honor believe me, it just isn't as great when I have no control over where my artwork goes. The thought of me missing a comment or such and then a drawing of mine which I may have SOLD the rights to is suddenly on somebody's back just scares me a little. That's mainly my concern. But by all means, go ahead I'd love to see it!

I'm glad you like it but I would really have liked that you'd asked for permission first, since this is my artwork, and I have the rights to it. It's okay for now but you should really consider the artist before you do someething like that. Will you please show me the result afterwards?

Very "Tim Burton-y". I like how the little heart in front of her in on the stake--not just illustrating the play on words, but also representing the inherent lonliness that she is feeling.

How do you reconcile the use of colored pencils and gel pens? Whenever I try to combine them, there is always some intrinsic smudging that turns my work into sh!7 (pardon my French). Course, that may just be because I tend to daw and color a lot of tiny things. Well done

Thank you so much!!
Figured you'd notice the meanings.

Well, it's okay, I don't know french. Seriously though, I don't really mix them! You see the hearts still floating in the sky are made with gel pens, that's why they're so bright red, and the ones on the ground are just geeenntttllyyy coloured with coloured pencils, and on the one she's working on, I did have some gel pen on top, but it went fine because the coloured pencil isn't PRINTED INTO THE PAPER so to say also, I'd suggest you wait till the gel pen dries after drawing something usually helps for not smudging! even for tiny things
