Another painting done at A.C. Moores….

Ah, so glad to be back online—lost power for about a day with this last nor’easter. :\ And then lost the chicken run and the clothesline and several patches of fence to all the branches and trees that fell to the sticky snow. Dangit.

On the positive side, got some lovely pictures (that I want to paint now), so in the meantime, have a snowy scene rendered in acrylic.

I really like this one, especially the different shades in the snow and the water. And as I’m always wont to do, there’s a deer in there. And a cardinal—and after seeing one yesterday, I can tell you that those pretty boys just pop in the snow.

And I love the fact that this, like all the other paintings done at Red Engle’s class, only took five colors and five brushes on a 16” x 20” canvas.

Done in Acrylic.
