It's a good movie, but the book is way better. Read the novel if you can.

I'd totally suggest that. The book is more submersible and like any adaptation, the movie leaves a lot of shit out. Part of the fun of American Psycho is reading Patrick's thought patterns anyway, which a movie just can't properly show despite the attempt at narration.

Watching the movie afterwards is good fun though, cause you'll be both privy to the references while it'll clear up anything that you may have missed in the book.

Yeah, I tend to read the books first and then watch the movies, just to see what they left out.

I've been trying to find the book for awhile, I feel like an idiot because if I finally get spending money I usually forget all about books, I've got it in my cart on Amazon though, when money is in, it shall be mine.

Once I found it for ten cents in a thrift store and someone had ripped out the first twenty pages
