i agree with this, and btw, im studying in the animation film industry, and my teachers all say i must avoid anime as it is one of the laziest forms of 2d animation with horrible frame rate. Honestly i prefer 3d above everything else most of the time.

I classify anime as good but not great. It is as varied as any other medium. But in recent times I get people (otaku) arguing that it is practicallyΒ a divine institution that is above all other forms of animated entertainment.Β And the evidence for this (out of some of their own reasoning) is contradictory.

Oh mah gosh true! I've seen clips of recent anime and a lot of it has overly specialized women. Lots of anime became nothing more than sex appeal. And those bratty 90s kids who hate new cartoons had the gall to say anime is better, but... It's not.
