Wow, it's amazing! I love how you used cloth and fibers to make the snail and used watercolors for the snail's reflection It's definitely one of the most creative pieces I have seen.

I do agree, though, that there should be more color harmonies between the psychedelic snail and it's reflection. They look like two very different snails But perhaps that could have been intentional.

Thank you very much! Your comment means a lot

It was intentional that they would look very different - the reflection just outlines the colors on the snail. They are obviously different, for me, since the reflection is of a real snail and the one above is stylized

thank you very much for the comment!

This is a really interesting concept and execution. I love the approach of using watercolors for a β€œwatery” reflection. There’s some really lovely details in the way you’ve applied the string, and I love the layers of textured material for the body. I am, however, feeling a little disconnect between the various elements of the piece - the color harmonies in particular. I think it would be better if more color relationships were carried throughout the whole. For example, including pink and orange in the snail’s body, brighter and stronger blues in the reflection, and maybe a touch of tan in the shell. The elements would still have their individual flare, but the piece would hold together better. But, very imaginative, with a nice execution!
