Tribute to Daius When wild Stryx are old enough to fly, they'll often form pairs or small flocks in the morning hours, racing and competing on the ground or in the air to prove their strength and skill. Some can be seen competing with their parents or other elder Stryx, or will seek out other young dragons, instead.

Tribute to Nokt During the night, under a full moon, wild Stryx often become amorous and exciteable after they've reached sexual maturity. Something about the bright light of the full moon moves them to pair off, either as mated pairs, or flirtatious adolescents, performing beautiful acrobatic, and sometimes synchronized displays and dances, in the air or on the ground. Some will even fly high into the clouds, lock talons, and plummet toward the earth, spinning all the while, in a harrowing display of trust and cooperation, before unfurling their wings and flying apart before they reach the ground.

Tribute to Galyx
When wild Stryx become full-fledged adults, ready to take on a life without the support of their parents, they must learn to cooperate with others outside their family units for food. Hunting in pairs or larger numbers is always more successful than hunting alone, and takes a great deal of intelligence and skill when it comes to catching swift or slippery prey. Especially when it comes time to find a mate, a Stryx must prove they can provide for their new family not just alone, but with the help of their mate.
