intro
yes i was inspired to make a part 3.(rated PG13 at the most) i was at work when i heard "Save tonight" by Eagle eye Cherry; the idea of a love that was passionate but fragile.

"Go on and close the curtains
Cause all we need is candle light
You and me and a bottle of wine
Going to hold you tonight
Well we know I'm going away
And how I wish, I wish it weren't so..

Save tonight
And fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
Tomorrow I'll be gone"

_____

In a quest to find a way to extend Anna's life to match his own, Bryan had the idea of asking someone
who would possibly be willing to help-- for the right to the technology that beat within Bryan's semi-
robotic heart (and other parts.)

Dragov quickly agreed to make time in his schedule to fly Anna and Bryan to Russia, to have his team
of military scientists perform a procedure. They would remove certain parts; parts they wanted to get
a better look at, from Bryan then put them in to Anna (replacing the parts with normal human organs-
so he would not die.)

After only 2 days recovery time, Dragov sent them back to the United States. He did not tell them what
parts were removed/traded, only that the parts were necessary for the circulation of robotic components
(the immortal nanites that lived in Bryan- and now Anna's blood.)

It didn't matter that the technology might be used for less then noble purposes; they planned on living
off the gird, letting the world go on without them.

But that might be easier said than done. After the transatlantic flight landed them in New Jersey,
Bryan started to feel unbearably sick- for the first time since his initial death all those years
ago. But he did not want to worry Anna.

They stole a car and headed west, with the goal of settling in a place where they could forget about
their pasts. Bryan drove first, but after just a few hours he asked her to switch.

"I'm just very tired for some reason." He got out of the driver's side door and immediately passed out,
hitting his head on the pavement. Anna did not scream or cry after all she still had her assassin
training. She knew she could not take him to a hospital; way to many questions. She moved his body to
the back seat. He was still breathing. She broke in to a road side hotel and took a few items that
they could use; soap, blankets, towels- whatever she could grab with just one try, before getting back
on the road.

Bryan awoke, as they passed in to Indiana. He knew what was happening; his body was rejecting what
ever "new" organs were put in his body. His only hope was for the nanites that remained to assimilate
the new organs. Perhaps that was already happening and he was just impatient. All he knew for sure was
he vomiting up blood, and needed to stay awake, so he did not choke to death.

They stopped to sleep by the side of the road. When ever Anna felt she had enough sleep she could
continued to drive.

Indiana, South Dakota, Montana. she knew of a place where they could stay at least for a little while.
It was an abandoned cabin that used to be a militia safehouse (hopefully that was no longer the case.)

Bryan slept for 3 days. He awoke in a bed that was dusty. How did he get there? Was Anna strong enough to move someone who outweighed her by at least 100 pounds?

He was dizzy with a fever, and lack of food. His vision was blurry and he had a pounding headache, but
he managed to make it to the bathroom to lean over the sink.

"that water doesn’t work yet!" Anna said, rushing to his side before he turned on the faucet. the
pluming had not been used in years, and was filled with sludge. Anna smiled as she touched his face,
happy to see him awake. She was full of energy.

"but the shower works! I've been working on it all day." she said. She helped him remove his cloths,
to sit in the shower under the cold water. He was still too weak to stand. anna washed his back,
shoulders, then down his chest, to his legs. She turned off the water and slipped on to his lap. she
kiss his lips softly.

"we'll be ok." she said in a whisper.

Over the next few months Anna got a waitress job in the nearby small town. Working under an assumed
name, she brought just enough money for what ever survival supplies they needed.

Bryan regained strength slower than anticipated, but he was grateful to be alive. He explored the
house, finding various weaponry and wielding materials. He cleaned and created weapons, for hunting
and/or protection (if the day ever came.) He made a garden for Anna using wild seeds and compost; over
all feeling very accomplished his is humble life.

But he was still disturbed by how often he was getting sick. Often he would awake with a violent cough,
with painful soreness in his lungs. Sometimes this would also be accompanied by a fever.
The symptoms could last from a few days to a few weeks. He also noticed (when burned or cut) his body
did not heal at the usual rate, leaving thick scar tissue.

Some days he would be afraid; but all it took was Anna walking through the door to renew his hope. With
her love, he could survive anything. But to keep her sane, he avoided any mention of feeling deathly
ill.

Days flew by. On the 1 year anniversary of their new life together he made a ring from metal, purified
in a homemade forge. they could never be legally married but that didn't matter; Anna and Bryan
already knew they were put on this earth to complete each other.

They ate a dinner of hunted meat and vegetables from their garden, talking about nature, philosophy, and
their plans for the next few days. Both had learned so much peace from their similar life.

As he spoke, she stroked his hand, lacing her fingers with his. Gazing in to his ice blue eyes. Everything about this man was so beautiful all she could do was smile.

When he was done eating, before anything else- she started to kiss him, and move to the bedroom,
tearing off cloths along the way.

They made long, passionate love; beyond sex- this was love that brings people to tears. Anna fell
sleep resting her head on his chest, soothed by the sound of his heartbeat. This moment was perfect.

It would be 3 weeks later when she started to feel a little odd.

Could she be pregnant? Maybe it was her imagination. So she kept the idea to herself, but by 4
months, it was clear, this was not her imagination.

Bryan said nothing to her. He noticed her change in demeanor right away. But his body was made of
reanimated death flesh and robotics; there was no way he could father a child- could he? but would she
have really been unfaithful? It was possible; after all she was gone most of the day. Anger from his
old life started to remerge. He could not forbid her from leaving the house, but he could leave. When
she went to work that day he packed up some supplies and left with out a word.

He went deep in to the woods, focusing on finding guidance in the universe. He sat by an open fire,
and painted his shoulders with ash in the shape of wings.

His soul was spared for a reason, he needed to return to the place of spirits. so he lay back on to the fire and let the flame consume him until he lost consciousness from the pain.

He was successful; In his vision the skeleton samurai appeared to him, "you are fool." said the one known as yoshi. "the child she carries is yours- your daughter will be the chosen one; a child born of ultimate power. All you need to do is------------ wake up!"

It took Anna less than 6 hours to find him. She got there just in time to pull his body from the fire, screaming and crying. Did he really have no faith her?

But for the first time in a long time, he was healing instantly. No words were spoken, no "I'm sorry" no "it will be ok", just silence.

For the next few months they went about their lives, with silence, until the day Anna gave birth, in their home, to a baby girl with hair the color of silver and eyes the color of glacial ice.
