MAX! *glomps* Good god, he's adorable in this page. Haha, Rei's so stoic, as usual, when it comes to finding things out about his captain. Can you feel the tension? Hoo~! o.o
I have to admit, I don't find Voltaire's logic twisted at all, that whole thing about suffering in order to develop a higher level of pain tolerance or whatever. And I do know that I push my limits a lot, and that's usually resulted in improved...whatever (stamina, speed, strength, etc). Buuuut now I have an idea for a Kai-Kei drawing, no lovey-dovey stuff (thank goodness), though. Just mutual understanding (even though Kei doesn't have any parasite feeding off of her.
