Description
This is the result of my messing around with a Rapidograph, Prismacolor markers, Copic markers, white acrylic paint and an India ink-wash. Touched up a little in Photoshop CS2, since I have unsteady hands
.This is Tonks, obviously. I didn't do the pink hair, because I've seen alot of drawings of her with the pink hair and wanted to do something a little different. Not that I mind the pink hair...I actually prefer it to this color.
Tonks is performing the "Lumos" spell. I guess this would be at the beginning of OotP when several Order members go to pick up Harry from the Dursley's. I was too lazy to look up what she actually looked like at that time, so I'm not worried if it's inaccurate.
Anyway, here is an actual traditional media piece for once. Except for the slight digital touch-ups.

Thank you so much! The ink wash was especially difficult to control, as it is much more wet than the other mediums I used. I'm pretty happy with the finished product.

I like her... and dark purple hair looks great. I always enjoy portraits that emphasize her chameleon character

Not really... you can use this ability as a characteristic! You just need to chose a fixpoint, something you do always the same (I make her face always heart-shaped) and the rest doesn't look twice the same... you also can use other fixpoints... her fashion-style or a birthmark...

That's true. I try to draw each character with some signifying feature. I like Tonks as a kind of rebel-type, who knows how to dress like a Muggle, since her dad was one.

Muggle or Muggleborn? I believe that he's Muggleborn, but these Purebloods always calls Muggles AND Muggleborns "Muggles"... not sure... should look it up...

Yeah, I could be confusing what the Purebloods say with whether Ted Tonks was actually just a plain Muggle or a Muggleborn wizard... It would make Bellatrix a whole lot crazier if he was just completely a Muggle!

I also like her eyes, (although I like rather the whole thing..) they look almost luminous.
