This was supposed to be a ten minute experiment to see if I could draw Disney. It turned into a one and a bit hour, full-page, full-colour Sharpie adventure.

I had actually just watched "Atlantis: The Lost Empire" for the first time a few days ago. It's probably one of my favorite Disney films to date now, and is entirely underrated. I like the fact that it's geared towards an older audience, and loses the sing-along musical element. The whole thing has a somewhat steampunk feel to it, which is also pretty cool.

Kida (full name Kidagakash) is not your usual Disney princess; she's actually pretty badass, and could probably hold her own in a bar fight. And she's pretty hot, for lines on a piece of paper, that is.

"Atlantis" was also Jim Varney's last performance; he died before the film was released in 2001, and never got to see the finished film.

If you haven't seen this one, you should definitely consider checking it out.
