I've gotta say... usually I'm not one for shonen-ai/yaoi (not saying this is either), but for some reason, I can see such happening with these two and wanting it to because of this picture.
Although if they're just friends (and that's all you're going for), that's cool too.
It's still of my favorite turians... right after Garrus of course.

Whilst this is great, my only complaint would be the size of their hips and waists. Turians have a very small waist that tapers down to to very protruding hips. Their hips just don't seem to jut out enough.

I never got why Saren, the single different looking Turian, just so happened to be EVIL. I've always been confused why he alone was different looking.

Yes. Saren didn't always have his cybernetics. He propably got them only after he had made contact with Sovereing sometime after 2165.

Didn't he get his Geth arm because he wanted to show his loyalty to the Geth?
And didn't he get his cybernetics from Sovereing between the two boss fights with him in Mass Effect 1?

Saren already had cybernetics when he attacked Eden Prime: [link]
Sovereing just added more and upgraded them between Virmire and the attack on the Citadel.

And I also see his Geth arm.
So I suppose he got it even before the attack on Eden Prime which would make sense since the Geth turned almost everyone on that planet into Husks.
Maybe he got his first cybernetics in or after his attendance in the First Contact War.
Also there is the possibility that he got them after the incident with Colonel Andersons Spectre exam.
