Prince Dastan from Prince of Persia.There's a scene in the movie where he stabs himself with the dagger to prove its power.
In the movie he collapses the moment he stabs himself but wanted him to suffer a bit longer

he looks like he punctured a lung which wouldn't make him collapse until he removes the dagger because he'll get a pneumothorax ( collapsed lung ) and he will only pass out after while because one of his lungs would still be working

You'd have to see the movie to understand why he stabbed himself. But I'll try my best to explain it to ya in words. So it turns out that the dagger he is holding can turn back time, and on an atempt to make his brother understand the power of the dagger he stabbed himself. But before he did, he told his brother how to make the time-travel thingy work. Of course, the brother pressed it and was able to stop Dastan from killing himself... Dastan had planned it like this all along.
Though seriously dude, watch the movie.
