Try adding a black layer underneath then you should be able to remove the stray pixels.
You eraser may be in brush mode (or more than one pixel big) or maybe possibly have anti aliasing on.

This is probably because I used Photoshop to finish it
last time I did this was when I finished everything in Paint Tool SAI and just animated it on Photoshop.
