Just watched Nightmare Before Christmas the other day.Got hooked in again. GAH!
This is a picture that is different from many of my other since with this one, I did not start with line art. I literally started with a white ball for Jack's head, and then it snowballed from there. ^^
It's a good exercise to practice, because you're basically forcing yourself to draw in shadows and to not depend on lines.
A little frustrating, but fun once you get into it. ^^ About the picture, I always thought Jack and Sally were very sweet with each other, so it's basically a date away from Halloween Town. As with every background that I try to attempt, it's... acceptable. ^^: Of course, I'm always practicing!If you haven't watched NBC in a while, I encourage to view it again. XD Those warm fuzzy feelings that you get from watching it will come back ten-fold, and you'll find yourself humming those familiar tunes. Go my children! Sit with your friends and watch that damn movie!
On another hand, T-Cats episode five "Old Friends." *foams at the mouth* SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.....

I was raving when I saw this on tumblr last night and I wanted to find the person that drew it! found you! I cannot contain my FEELS! I like the 40's (?) looking style of clothing. This also looks kind of french to me. I think Jack actually looks a lot cuter when his neck isn't exposed, lovely touch with the bandanna. If there was one bad thing I'd have to say, it's that Sally's dress is a bit too short for her level of modesty. But that's about it.
