B: *groan* Are you kidding me?
L: Want to hear a story instead that I came up when I was in the idle seat? *cough cough* I began a long while ago when-
Seeing it coming, she pointed at the window and with a faked a gasp.
B: *fake gasp* Oh my Celestia. Look! Through the window, a... a...
L: OH MY GOSH!!! Can you believe it? There is a lake! A lake! We could stop there and-
The unicorn couldn't stop talking and Bonbon simply resumed her reading.
B: *heavy sigh*(in her mind) I knew I should have brought ear plugs...

This is so me. Well, most of the time I travel alone, so I never have to ask anyone to give me their seat, but still! Window seats rule.

So the running joke is that Lyra is basically a big kid in an adult body.
It's cute and funny of course, but it would be nice to see BonBon developed a bit. We only ever see her be annoyed with Lyra for comedic effect. Why are they even friends unless there is something more than that going on?

I'll definitely try and see what I can do with that. The basic idea of the series is to have the ponies in a universe that is similar to ours in terms of technology (I am slowly introducing that with details like phones and trains). The modern setting is there to create some relatable and very light slice of life situations.
I already had some trouble with this comic, trying to avoid the same old joke over and over. But I'll try and see what I can do with it for the next one...

Sounds good.
You could work it in by having BonBon try to counter Lyra's craziness, not out of a sense of annoyance, so much as perhaps a sincere concern that her tomfoolery could get her hurt or into trouble.
That way, BonBon comes out looking like the good guy, with multiple layers of motivation, rather than just a stick in the mud to contrast with Lyra.
