The notes are bittersweet, full of memories, and of loss.

=wynnesome said it best: "The reason for art is so that for a few moments here and there, humans can transcend the fundamental isolation of the fact that every person is a distinct, individual, discrete being. Individuality is beautiful, but lonely sometimes, and when you share a piece of art with someone, you both share the feeling in the moment."

As Gremlin's long time companion, partner, and more, =wynnesome has faced struggles and heartache most will never know. It was her courage to share these private moments, in the hope that others might find something meaningful.

D.M. Gremlin was all about finding the things in life that would bring people together. A truly remarkable individual whose diverse talents and personality will be missed by the arts and musical world.

Footnote: I had serious reservations about posting any of these images. It was not the purpose nor the motivation for taking them, though in fact the only thing I've been compelled to shoot in over a year. Certainly nothing I would ever set out to shoot, nor will likely ever again. These are not "good" pictures in any conventional sense, but the emotion is real. It is in the hope that someone will take something meaningful away from the viewing that =wynnesome has shared this of herself.
