Yogi Bear is the next cartoon to be adapted into a live action film.[link]
Judging from the trailer, it at least keeps in spirit with the cartoon, but the CGI doesn’t really look like it fits in with the movie. Design wise, the poster ([link] ) makes the designs look horrible, but it looks good in motion. Justin Timberlake does a great Boo Boo. Why didn’t they just get the normal voice actor? Do people really go see films just for the celebrity voice actors?
Anyway, this is just another film to cash in on the success of Alvin and the Chipmunks. I doubt it’ll be as successful as the Chipmunks. The only reason that movie did good because it has cute critters and squeaky voices talking hip. Kids love that stuff.
Either way, I’m not going to see this in theaters. For me, this is a rental.

I watched the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. The only reason I made it through the whole thing was because I was way sick (high fever) and couldn't be bothered to do anything else or change the channel. The chipmunks were really cute, but that's all the good I can say about it.

well at least the designs look like the original character, he could have looked like a REAL bear which would be super creepy.
