I agree, G.I Joe: A Real American Hero was awesome back in its day, sure the animation wasn't good quality, but hell that was the 80s, for them that was good quality, now a day shows are all CGI and computer crap effects, no real classic quality like you got back in the 80s and 90s to mid 2000s

I loved the few times on the old show when he'd be eating or on the phone. They'd tease you because you'd see Destro walk in and be all "Put on your hood!" like he's disgusted by the off-screen commander, or he would have his face off-screen or his back to you. It was generally a well-crafted moment.

I like GI Joe Renegades but I gotta agree. The original is more fun

I do like the new Renegades, probably because it reminds me of the A-Team. But I can understand why you like the original. That Cobra Commander was awesome! Heck, I still watch that movie from time to time.
And I always wanted to know how he does that with that thing on.

I hope you mean the animated movie. That live action one sucked (though that Paris chase scene was pretty neat).

Of course. Sgt. Slaughter kicking butt and taking names.

V.amusing. Maybe he could go on a double date with the Man in the Iron Mask?

You mean Destro? I wanted to put him in, since he's dating Baroness, but I wanted to focus more on Cobra Commander.

Nay I was referring to the novel by Dumas (most recently played by Leonardo Di Caprio). In my head it was a funny joke.

This is your best strip, so far. A very well thought out story, both deep and with multiple meanings to the joke.

Yeah, Renegades is a bit boring and I never understood why G.I. Joe were framed as bad guys. It feels like the A-Team but less humorous and with a ninja.
