For those who have not taken organic chemistry...there is no point in my trying to explain. Just know that a poor carbocation is about to undergo the last stage of a cruel and unusual reaction mechanism.Possible subtitles:
"This is your brain on organic chemistry."
"When lewis bases attack."
"A tale of two ions."
"Alkylhalides of our lives."
"Substitution mechanisms in the city."
...ok I'll stop now.
I was debating whether to scrap this...it is a disgrace to my other watercolors but I guess I'll leave it where it is on the offchance that a fellow chemistry geek runs accross it. Yes, I think hexamethylchickenwire is funny too.
