Carved Gray Fox skull, walnut ink stain; about four inches long.Trying here for a simple, low relief design.

I am in love with this particular design for some reason. I am curious if it is for sale, or if you would commission a fox skull similar?

I like the subtlety of the design. It looks almost... organic. As if that is how it was when you found it. Is that all the carving you did, was the design on the bone itself, or did you carve pieces, actual chunks of bone out of the skull?

The design was carved (actual chunks of bone out of the skull, as you say). I put on the stain and then rub it off so that the carved areas are darker.
