No everyone, not condoms; it's a type of ice cream in Japan not unlike those multi-colored plastic-cased freeze-pops we have in America in the summer that you have to cut the top off with scissors to eat. In Japan, however, they're just smaller and usually have a yogurt base (they're actually quite delicious!), coming in pairs of two so you break it in half in order to open it. Of course that means that it's meant to be shared, but you can always just be fat like me and eat both yourself. You can actually buy them in American stores that specialize in Asian foodstuffs (though it's usually the chinese version pictured here: img.21food.com/img/images/2013… So there you have it!

And in Japan, there are some of the little ice treats that are packages in sterile condoms, and they are called 'Tamago Aisu', or 'Ice Cream Egg'
