Description Johnny Cash that i drew for my mothers birthday present. it didn't really turn out how i'd hoped. because of his rough skin i thought because the ref photos was surprisingly good quality for it's age that circulism might be a good way to go for his flesh but i think it's too small or he's too far away and it just wasn't working. anyway.
drawn on Strathmore Bristol vellum with graphite line Caren d' Ache pencils with some charcoal pencil too

Thanak you lovely, i wish i'd had started drawing it with my usual method because i'd have gotten a much more accurate likeness but it's funny because with short hair this would almost be the spitting image of my late father.
