Description OK - back to my comfort zone. Not sure if I push this further or if I like, but was quiet fun to paint on it.

Cheers

Really neat man! Maybe the church needs more blending in to the rock but otherwise really nice mood and application of textures

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

donmalo In reply to St-Pete [2012-04-23 07:36:02 +0000 UTC]

Thanks, mate.
Yeah - that could work as well. But decided to not blend it all together,'cause I'd like to have a bit of distance between the building and the rocks.
just some certain areas are blended together
Thanks again!
Cheers

I love this dark enviroment feel to it. My question is: Is this natural enviroment conditions or did something happen or even a dark time of year? I love imagining the story inside pictures like this. Great job!

donmalo In reply to Archenslav8 [2012-04-18 07:57:39 +0000 UTC]

Thanks a lot!
Well - I'd like to keep that up to the viewer.
For me its way more interesting to see / read how people interpret that image and build up their own story
But at older days the sky was blue, the people smiled more often and the bazaar was full of interesting goods. And then…
now let your imagination flow and enjoy the journey

Hmmm... mind if at some point I return to it and right an "art" inspired piece? I am currently doing one for Not1me, but I would like to maybe give it a shot. What say you?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

donmalo In reply to Archenslav8 [2012-04-18 18:15:21 +0000 UTC]

Nope - I don't mind at all. You're more then welcome. Would love to see / read your interpretation of the images.
Just let me know when you find the time and if you're still in the mood.
Thanks in advance
Cheers

It's really great!

donmalo In reply to parkurtommo [2012-04-18 07:48:10 +0000 UTC]

Yup - I do. I think textures are saving a lot of time and making thing much easier (especially if you're a lazy person as I am ).
Textures and customized shapes are a pretty cool tool to get a quick and nice result.

Thanks for liking it

I would size up the casle a bit, maybe make it climb up along the rock like a creeper or something. I still like it though
